Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data pipelines and architectures, collaborate closely with technology and product teams to advance data understanding, security, and accessibility. This role involves building scalable data processing and transformation solutions, contributing innovative ideas, and managing projects efficiently to enhance product development. You will play a crucial role in aggregating information, capturing requirements, and ensuring high-quality data analysis and integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark/Spark SQL.
• Collaborate with teams across Technology, Algorithms, and Products to innovate and refine data strategies.
• Manage projects, including estimating engineering efforts, prioritizing tasks, and triaging production issues.
• Aggregate information from various sources and establish key partnerships for data gathering.
• Capture business and application requirements, and provide thorough data analysis and technical solutions.
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark/Spark SQL.
• Strong experience in data pipeline construction and data architecture design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay complex information effectively.
  
  

Industry Experience:

Prior experience in data engineering roles, preferably within technology or related sectors.
