Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Lead Data Engineer to design enterprise-scale data platforms powering provider, member, claims, and network analytics. You will build graph-based solutions with Python, PySpark, and AWS Glue to enable AI initiatives and data quality improvements.

Ideal candidates combine healthcare data experience with graph data modeling and governance. You will mentor engineers and help mature data engineering practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python development experience.
• Senior-level expertise with PySpark and distributed data processing.
• Strong experience developing AWS Glue ETL pipelines.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing and data lake architectures.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale relational databases.
• Experience designing and implementing graph database solutions (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph, or equivalent).
• Experience processing healthcare data including claims, provider, member, eligibility, pharmacy, or clinical data.
