We are seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks to join our team in USA. The ideal candidate is passionate about building data platforms, designing scalable solutions, and working in modern cloud-native environments. As a Data Engineer at Eucloid, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing robust data architectures using Databricks Lakehouse Platform, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful analytics and machine learning outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (Delta Live Tables, PySpark, SQL). • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver reliable and production-ready data solutions. • Implement and maintain data lakes, Delta tables, and lakehouse architectures on Databricks. • Work with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (primarily Databricks on AWS or Azure). • Apply dbt, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows to maintain lineage, governance, and scheduling. • Ensure high performance, reliability, security, and scalability of data pipelines. • Build monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure pipeline health and data integrity. • Document technical solutions, workflows, and design decisions for team collaboration and transparency.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Databricks: Spark (PySpark), Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog. • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation tasks. • Experience with dbt for transformation and workflow orchestration within the Databricks ecosystem. • Familiarity with Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables, and automated job orchestration. Understanding of data lakehouse architecture and best practices for data modeling and governance. • Exposure to CI/CD practices for Databricks using Git and deployment pipelines. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Databricks deployment. • Familiarity with MLflow and integrating with downstream ML pipelines (nice to have). • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines. • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with at least 1-2 years hands-on experience with Databricks.
