Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Data Developer to join its Data Content Development team in New York. You will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support product stewardship and regulatory compliance applications, working with software developers, regulatory analysts, and product teams.

The ideal candidate has strong C# and SQL skills, experience with large datasets, and a proactive approach to translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions in a regulatory domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience designing and supporting data-centric applications.
• Familiarity with large datasets and data processing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions within existing application frameworks.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable implementations.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and data transformation processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and data-related issues.

We are seeking a Data Developer to join our Data Content Development team. In this role, you will work closely with software developers, regulatory analysts, and product teams to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support Sphera's product stewardship and regulatory compliance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience writing technical specifications and documentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory, chemical, environmental, or product stewardship domains.
• Ability to work with multilingual datasets.
