Job description

Senior Data Conversion Lead in Salesforce (Ref: 5848)

Duration: 12-24 months
Location: Remote within the Continental US.
Rate: DOE

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have experience in a Data Conversion Lead role on a project performed in the last seven (7) years with a contract value of at least ten million dollars ($10M). Experience will involve:

• DCL.1a: Performing data cleansing.
• DCL.1b: Performing data normalization.
• DCL.1c: Ensuring data integrity.
• DCL.1d: Measuring data quality.
• DCL.1e: Performing data mapping.
• DCL.1f: Designing data transformations and integration from multiple data sources.
• DCL.1g: Incorporating data security constraints into the conversion solution.
• DCL.1h: Working with functional, testing, interface, and other application teams to ensure the Conversion solution supports their requirements.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) years as a Conversion Lead utilizing extract, transform, and load (ETL) toolsets on projects.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) years working with data conversion efforts involving different legacy data formats and legacy data repositories (e.g., DB2).

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) years working with analytical data concepts and implementing data quality standards and methodologies.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years performing and/or leading teams that performed conversion of legacy systems containing over two hundred (200) million records.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have experience in a Data Conversion Lead role on a legacy mainframe DB2/VSAM data conversion project, including data assessment to evaluate data sources and data quality.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years of experience in a Data Conversion Lead role on a project involving data migration from existing to new system(s), conducting the following specific activities:

• DCL.7a: Data migration planning.
• DCL.7b: Pre-migration validation testing.
• DCL.7c: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) – actual data transfer and transformation.
• DCL.7d: Post-migration validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• DCL.7e: Data security measures for the entirety of the migration process.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years of experience in a Data Conversion Lead role providing knowledge transfer.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years of experience in a Data Conversion Lead role completing data integration via interfaces.

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years in:

• DCL.10a: Salesforce experience, and.
• DCL.10b: Postgres experience, and.
• DCL.10c: Talend experience, and.
• DCL.10d: OwnBackup experience.

Possession of a bachelor's degree or equivalent four (4)-year combination of industry-related professional experience and education.

Preferred

The individual proposed as Data Conversion Lead must have at least two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years on project(s) on behalf of a state department of motor vehicles.
