Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical Revit Technician to join our Data Center team. You will develop coordinated Revit models, create design and construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high‑quality design solutions.

You will mentor junior designers, participate in model coordination reviews, and contribute to BIM standards and best practices within a fast‑paced project environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience on complex facility projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.
• Experience preparing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical layouts, ductwork, piping, and coordination.
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Strong documentation standards and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit/BIM models for complex mechanical systems on data center projects.
• Prepare construction documents for HVAC, hydronic systems, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical and fire protection disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and BIM staff, and support QA/QC reviews.
• Support project teams during construction administration and RFIs.
