Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in datacenter migrations to lead infrastructure projects and ensure seamless transitions. You will oversee end-to-end migrations, coordinate with application, networking and security teams, and mentor a team of engineers while maintaining project documentation and risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering; master's preferred.
12+ years in IT infrastructure management with focus on datacenter migrations.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware preferred.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; PMP a plus.
Strong leadership and communication with executives.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end datacenter migration projects with risk mitigation and minimal business disruption.
Plan, design, and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with goals.
Collaborate with application, networking, and security teams to define migration requirements.
Evaluate, select, and implement migration tools and methodologies.
Identify risks and establish mitigation strategies; manage timelines, budget, quality.
Drive technical troubleshooting with internal teams and vendors.
Lead a team of infrastructure engineers; provide guidance and mentorship.
Develop and maintain project documentation (migration strategies, risk assessments, post-migration reports).
Communicate with stakeholders and provide progress updates.
Establish and monitor performance metrics post-migration.
