Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager, Site Deployment - Mechanical Design Assurance to lead operational mechanical reviews for new data center builds and expansions across North America.

You will act as the Site Operations voice during design, review IFC packages, and ensure design delivers operability, safety and reliability. You will partner with Design Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Business Operations, and local Site Operations to align design with

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate operator concerns.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a data center environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic data gathering for reports.
• Ability to review mechanical drawings, specs, and sequences of operation.
• Understanding of operability, maintainability, reliability, and lifecycle risks in design packages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Site Deployment representative for mechanical design assurance across campuses and expansions.
• Participate in design page-turn reviews and provide operator-focused comments from concept through IFC.
• Review mechanical packages, narratives, specs, sequences of operation, equipment schedules for operability and reliability.
• Review submittals, equipment selections, vendor docs, and alternates for operational impact and lifecycle risk.
• Support RFIs related to mechanical systems, access, modes, redundancy, controls interfaces and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Site Operations to ensure design intent is carried forward.
