Job summary
A leading commissioning services company is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support Data Center projects. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of commissioning experience, a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of mechanical systems. Responsibilities include developing test procedures and ensuring safety compliance. This is a full-time position based in Reno, Nevada, offering comprehensive health coverage and a generous PTO plan.
Qualifications
Minimum of five to seven years Data Center Commissioning experience.
Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Extensive travel may be required (75%).
Responsibilities
Support and contribute to all aspects of safety for all mechanical tests.
Develop all mechanical test procedures, MOPS, SOO’s and checklists.
Ensure safe work practices are followed by the commissioning team.
Skills
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Knowledge of mission critical design concepts
Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of various Building Automation/Monitoring Systems
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
