Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced logistics leader to oversee data center logistics operations and manage 3PL warehousing relationships. You will drive cost efficiency, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with transportation policies.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in leading logistics operations and managing over-dimensional shipments. This position is based in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• 2+ years in logistics operations.
• 1+ year in managing over-dimensional shipments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of data center logistics operations.
• Negotiate pricing and manage relationships with 3PL warehousing providers.
• Ensure warehousing activities comply with company logistics policies and operational standards.
• Oversee warehousing issue resolution and escalation management.
• Collaborate with data center operations teams on warehouse space and labor capacities, production schedules, delivery requirements, and timelines.
• Coordinate communication between logistics team members and broader data center business teams.
• Support customer and stakeholder meetings related to logistics planning and execution.
• Drive process improvements to enhance warehousing performance, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure third-party logistics providers adhere to company transportation policies and expectations.
