Job summary

Wesco International, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is hiring a Senior Data Center Logistics Associate to lead material flow and inventory operations in a high-security data center.

You will oversee the safe movement of IT hardware, receiving, staging, and distribution while ensuring accuracy and safety standards. You will work with technical teams to support server deployments, hardware replacements, capacity planning, and large-scale hardware deployments, mentoring junior staff and driving process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• 4–7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience in data center, IT infrastructure, or mission-critical environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage delicate, high-value technical equipment requiring precise, white-glove handling.
• Receive, log, and process inbound shipments, including verifying quantities and condition.
• Prepare, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments and coordinate truck loading.
• Verify supplier returns and enter receipts into inventory systems.
• Relocate and organize materials within storage and staging areas.
• Maintain inventory records and related documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs with internal teams.
• Coordinate transportation between storage locations and data center facilities.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for inventory discrepancies and shipping issues.
• Perform cycle counts and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics and processes.
• Assist with training new logistics associates on SOPs and safety.
