Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is expanding its Engineering Data Center Lab in Norman, Oklahoma and seeks an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to provide hands-on support for compute, storage, networking, and related data-center infrastructure used by global engineering teams.

You will install, rack, cable, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment; participate in migrations and lab expansions; and collaborate with Network, Systems, Storage, and Facilities to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise data-center or lab infrastructure.
• Hands-on with compute, storage, networking, and data center gear.
• Ability to work onsite in Norman, OK.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cable, relocate, and decommission data center hardware.
• Support migrations, deployments, and lab expansions.
• Execute changes per implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, storage, and power issues.
• Maintain rack elevations, asset records, and cabling docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network, Systems, Storage, and Facilities.
