Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Center Repair Technician to join our infrastructure engineering team. This role focuses on the physical repair and maintenance of data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and related components, with local travel to multiple sites.

You will perform hands-on repairs, manage lifecycles of hardware, conduct inspections, oversee spare parts inventory, document activities, and support new installations while coordinating with teammates to

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware, or related field.
• Proven repair and maintenance experience in data center IT hardware.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Arista hardware and x86 servers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and replacement of hardware components in data center equipment.
• Manage hardware lifecycles from installation to decommissioning and recycling.
• Conduct physical inspections and routine maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and availability for repairs and upgrades.
• Collaborate with teams to coordinate replacements and minimize downtime.
• Document repair activities and update system configurations as needed.
• Execute basic cable/port testing for connectivity and performance.
• Support new hardware installations and physical setup of network/server infra.
• Participate in emergency response teams for urgent hardware issues.
