Job summary

Comcast seeks a Sr. Manager to lead Data Center Engineering, driving design, reliability, and lifecycle management of critical data center infrastructure.

You will steer strategy across compute, storage, network, power, and environmental systems, ensuring high availability for mission‑critical services. You will mature engineering practices, optimize performance, and align initiatives with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing data center environments and infrastructure.
• Direct leadership of teams and accountability for results.
• Knowledge of electrical, cooling, cabling, and networking within data centers.
• Experience with DCIM tools, ideally dcTrack.
• Understanding of asset management, monitoring, and lifecycle processes.
• Ability to operate in mission-critical environments with high uptime requirements.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data center engineering strategies for scalable, resilient operations.
• Oversee performance, maintenance, and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and reliability across data center environments.
• Standardize engineering processes and change management practices.
• Develop monitoring and reporting to provide visibility into performance and risks.
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives.
• Partner with Network, Operations, Facilities, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Drive project execution, timelines, and operational excellence.
• Lead incident response, RCAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use data to guide investment decisions and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
