Comcast is seeking a Sr. Manager of Data Center Engineering to lead the design, reliability, and lifecycle management of critical data center infrastructure—including compute, storage, network, power, and environmental systems. The role drives operational excellence, scalability, and resiliency across data center operations while aligning engineering strategy with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting, managing, or engineering data center environments.
• Prior people leadership experience including coaching and performance management.
• Working knowledge of data center infrastructure including electrical, cooling, cabling, fiber, servers, networks, and storage.
• Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, preferably dcTrack.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, asset management, monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data center engineering strategies for scalable, resilient operations.
• Oversee performance, maintenance, and lifecycle management of compute, storage, networking, power, cooling, fiber optics, and cabling.
• Ensure high availability and uptime targets across data center environments.
• Establish and drive standardized engineering processes and change management practices.
• Develop monitoring, telemetry, and reporting capabilities for visibility and data-driven decisions.
• Lead long-term capacity planning and scaling initiatives.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Security, Architecture, and other stakeholders.
• Drive accountability for project execution and outcomes.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for resiliency.
• Use data to guide investments, optimize costs, and align priorities.
