IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Construction Estimator-Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

The role leads cost estimating for large electrical data-center projects and writes proposals outlining scope and costs. Candidates should have 8+ years in electrical estimating or cost control, Data Center and Accubid experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Excel and project management software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in estimating or cost control and/or engineering in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Data Center and Accubid experience required.
• Strong leadership ability; design-build project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates for electrical construction projects from $20M-$100M.
• Writes proposals capturing scope and costs.
• Leads the Proposal Review Process before customer release.
• Acts as front-line contact for estimating efforts and developing new customers.
• Leads estimators and preconstruction team in developing estimates and proposals.
• Implements estimating standards and best practices.
• Coordinates estimating across bids/projects and negotiates with vendors.
• Supports other departments and assists PMs with start-up and change-order costs.
• Ensures all estimates are accurate and meet company requirements.
• Work on-site, in office, and travel to projects as required.
