The Electrical Estimator role supports preconstruction by leading electrical cost estimation, market analysis, and buyout oversight, coordinating with Lead and Mechanical Estimators to deliver complete budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with electrical, medium-voltage, low-voltage, communications, and fire alarm scopes in mission-critical projects.
• Experience estimating projects $50M+ in total electrical contract value.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid) and Excel.
• Understanding of data center electrical challenges and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead market research for electrical scopes, including labor, materials, and equipment trends.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment and track cost variance.
• Review subcontractor pricing and participate in buyout oversight and negotiations.
• Conduct constructability reviews and drive value engineering for electrical scopes.
• Assist with bid responses, RFIs, and site walks; travel to project sites as needed.
