Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• Professional Engineering or Architectural License.
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for mechanical cooling equipment, including motor controls, VFDs, power distribution panels, control wiring, and instrumentation integration.
• Lead the electrical aspect of new product design and development for mechanical cooling equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, controls/automation, reliability, QA/QC, and compliance teams to create well‑thought‑out products.
• Design and specify electrical systems for rotating equipment including fans, pumps, and compressors.
• Create designs which meet or exceed quality requirements while delivering ROI.
• Coordinate with global suppliers and manufacturers for AHUs, skids, and ADACs BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations across countries (UL, CE, IEC, NEC/NFPA 70).
• Prepare, review, and approve product design drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Define project scope and provide technical support before and during manufacturing.
