Job summary
A leading mission critical consultancy is seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Engineer located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five to seven years of Data Center Commissioning experience. Responsibilities include supporting safety, completing QA/QC for electrical systems, and documenting tests. Candidates must possess knowledge of OSHA standards and excellent communication skills. Qualifications
Minimum of five to seven years of Data Center Commissioning experience.
Ability to effectively write commissioning scripts and reports.
Extensive travel may be required (75%).
Responsibilities
Support all aspects of safety for electrical tests.
Conduct QA/QC of all electrical test procedures.
Participate actively in customer equipment Factory Witness Tests.
Provide test documentation for equipment delivery and installation.
Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and schedule adherence.
Skills
Electrical commissioning experience
Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E
Communication skills
Ability to read electrical schematics
Knowledge of data center design
Experience with UPS and ATS
Power quality analysis skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
