Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs for a growing data center campus in Barstow, TX. This on-site role requires relocation to Barstow or nearby and offers comprehensive benefits.

The candidate will develop and execute site-wide EHS strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with customers, contractors, and leadership to drive safety and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible Environmental, Health & Safety experience.
• Experience developing and implementing site-specific EHS programs and safety plans.
• Experience supporting industrial operations, contractor safety, manufacturing, energy, or similar environments.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action management.
• Experience building and fostering a positive safety culture.
• Experience working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience partnering directly with leadership teams, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Experience creating programs, processes, and safety systems from the ground up is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific Environmental, Health & Safety programs, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead Site Safety Committees and Safety Champion initiatives.
• Establish and oversee Site Safety Programs, Emergency Action Plans, and Contractor Safety Programs.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through behavioral-based safety initiatives.
• Serve as primary EHS advisor to leadership, customers, contractors, vendors, and employees.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local requirements.
• Develop scalable safety processes to support campus growth.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate training and compliance documentation.
