Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Cost Manager to join a data center construction project. You will estimate, budget and manage costs across the construction lifecycle while building strong relationships with subcontractors and clients.

The role demands 3–5+ years in cost management, with the option for MRICS/AssocRICS accreditation; experience in mission-critical construction is a plus. This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying or related field.
• 3–5+ years experience in cost management, estimating, or related construction discipline.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and estimate assigned scopes of work from project documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts and cost management reports.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals, change orders and cost impacts.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, forecasts and potential cost risks.
• Support contract administration and commercial management at project level.
• Assist with change management, cost reconciliation and project reporting.
