Job summary

Oracle seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead data center builds with colocation partners in Columbia, SC. You will drive schedules, budgets, and quality across design, construction, and commissioning phases, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires extensive experience in construction project management, leadership, and strong contract and risk management skills to deliver high-quality facilities compliant with industry

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in construction project management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field AND 11 years of experience in construction project management
• Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field AND 9 years of experience in construction project management
• Doctorate in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field AND 7 years of experience in construction project management
• 2 years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
• 4 years of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic oversight and leadership for the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality.
• Develops, maintains, and oversees comprehensive project schedules and ensures coordination with colocation providers for milestones.
• Leads budget creation, management, and optimization for projects across the organization.
• Oversees documentation, design reviews, commissioning, and problem-solving papers to maintain high standards.
• Directs quality control processes to meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinates tenant fit-out projects across design, construction, and commissioning phases for efficiency.
• Leads risk evaluation and mitigation initiatives across project portfolios.
• Acts as primary liaison with colocation providers and manages vendor contracts to ensure performance.
• Oversees installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems, ensuring quality.
