Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Construction Manager for Data Center Projects in Covington, GA. This 12-month contract role oversees both new build and retrofit work in active data center facilities, coordinating contractors, consultants and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of construction management experience in mission-critical environments, strong MEP expertise, and a proven ability to lead complex projects while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction management experience in mission-critical/large-scale projects.
• Experience with MEP systems across facilities.
• Proven track record managing retrofit work in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction activities for new build and retrofit data center projects.
• Manage contractor, consultant, designer, and vendor performance.
• Oversee retrofit work, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Coordinate execution across stakeholders while maintaining schedule, budget, quality and safety.
