Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks an experienced Construction Manager to support onsite data center fit-outs and retrofit projects within leased facilities. You will manage construction execution, contractor coordination, scheduling, and cost control, ensuring commissioning readiness and smooth handover in mission-critical environments.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% across North America.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction, operations, maintenance, or related experience.
• Experience supporting data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and connectivity systems.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage contractor performance and cost/quality expectations.
• Experience with commissioning, turnover, or closeout.
• Strong communication with contractors, landlords, and internal partners.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel ~50% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite construction activities for data center fit-outs and builds.
• Support Lead Construction Manager with contractor, designer, landlord coordination.
• Own scope execution across live data halls and new spaces.
• Coordinate between contractors, landlords, consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Lead site walks, progress reviews, and turnover readiness checks.
• Assist with project planning, scoping, sequencing, and work packages.
• Support schedule tracking with Project Controls and Scheduling teams.
• Manage schedule risks and mitigation plans.
• Support cost changes, budgeting, ROM estimates and CapEx forecasting.
• Manage MOPs for retrofit or live-data-center work.
• Drive project closeout and final handover documentation.
• Escalate risks to leadership and promote safety culture.
