Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Senior Commissioning Construction Manager I to lead commissioning across one or more complex projects in mission-critical environments. This role requires coordinating electrical, mechanical, and controls commissioning with on-site leadership and client-facing responsibilities.

The Senior CxCMI will mentor staff, drive strategies, and ensure readiness for turnover while managing safety, quality, and budget considerations. Expect 75–100% travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of eight years of additional related experience.
• Two years of hands-on install/testing/validation/troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Translate client objectives into actionable commissioning plans for project success.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams through commissioning phases across projects.
• Mentor junior commissioning staff and field engineers.
• Coordinate commissioning activities across stakeholders and sites.
• Ensure turnover packages and documentation meet QA/QC standards.
