Job summary

Oracle is seeking a data center infrastructure professional to design and implement cabling systems for new data centers and expansions. You will deploy physical cabling, adhere to standards, and collaborate with Program Management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, documenting build standards, and supporting continuous improvement of data center infrastructure across projects. A strong focus on planning and cross-team collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to designs for structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
• Deploys physical plant cabling systems as instructed.
• Adheres to global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
• Troubleshoots standard and non-standard cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Implements infrastructure for Oracle data centers and delivers continuous improvement of data center infrastructure.
• Understands project scope by reviewing BOM and resources and aligns with the project roadmap.
• Reports on project updates and maintains cabling/build standards documentation.
• Begins to collaborate with vendors to deliver build out of data center infrastructure.
