Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Senior Data Analyst and Business Analyst to serve as a strategic data resource for the College of Arts and Sciences Budget Office. You will develop complex reports and dashboards, analyze payroll and personnel data, and support merit allocations while ensuring data integrity and compliant reporting.

You will collaborate with college leadership, campus partners, and IT teams to implement enhancements, train staff, and deliver executive-level analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years in data analytics, payroll, HR, or finance data environments.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards to support operations and decisions.
• Experience with enterprise HR, Payroll, Finance, or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll and personnel data integrity across multiple systems.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Lead data analysis for payroll funding, position management, and budget processes.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams on reporting initiatives and system enhancements.
• Provide training and documentation on payroll reporting tools and processes.
