Job summary

Fairygodboss, located in California, is seeking a Senior Data & BI Reporting Engineer to acquire, cleanse, and analyze large data sets using Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Tableau. This role involves designing and implementing data solutions to support business decision making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex data engineering and will collaborate with business teams to provide effective reporting and analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and Tableau.
• 5–7 years of directly related experience in complex data engineering and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of advanced SQL scripts, procedures, and statements against databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data patterns across disparate complex data sources and structures.
• Design and develop data extractions and complex transformations using ETL tools.
• Create robust data reporting solutions through Cognos and Tableau.
• Collaborate with business teams to design, develop, test, and refine deliverables.
• Produce and present analysis in business language to support decision making.
