Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Knowledge and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in or like a Contact Center environment* Leads data research and analysis tasks.* Prepares data formats and compiles data to produce reports.* Prepares reports and presentations that convey trends and analysis.* Performs data research and analysis tasks related to database planning and design, systems analysis, integration, programming, conversion, and implementation support.* May use VBA, SQL and other tools to provide analysis and use of data sets, systems, and software.* Supports DHS business process improvements and modernization projects.* Analyzes and evaluates data to provide administrative and operational support, and to identify and resolve problems, in a variety of non-technical functional areas such as logistics, finance, programs, and business operations.* Identifies, defines, interprets, clarifies scope, and provides guidance regarding existing technical difficulties and potential enhancement solutions.* Works with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.* Develops and implements policies, procedures, and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.* Provides expert analysis and recommendations on current and emerging approaches and technology for big data management and analytics.* Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical information.* Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices.* Possesses consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design. **What You Will Need:*** Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.* Bachelor's degree* FIVE (5) or more years of experience using various data visualization programs such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL/VBA, etc. Experience should include: + Performing data analytics to address management and operational challenges + Independently conducting analysis and recommending actions to take based on analysis. + Leading client meetings. + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint **What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) required, advanced skills (macros, VBA) preferred.* Proficiency in data analytic tools such as SQL, Python, R* Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik* Collaborating and working in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently* Identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor* Communicating effectively to various audiences, including various levels of management and external clients, in a professional environment* Experience in commercial or public sector consulting firms* Prior experience supporting federal finance organizations* Experience with SharePointThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
