Cox Automotive Corporate Services, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Sr Lead Data Engineer to oversee data architecture, pipelines, and governance. You will lead design, development, and operation of data solutions using cloud and on‑premise storage, enabling analytics and AI initiatives across the organization.

You will guide senior engineers, collaborate with Product Management, and ensure scalable, high‑quality data systems while embracing hybrid work flexibility and strong governance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MIS, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience.
• 8 years of experience delivering scalable data platforms for analytics/AI/BI.
• Experience with RDS SQL Server, Azure SQL, DynamoDB in data solutions.
• Experience with BI tools and data catalogs (AWS Glue, Collibra).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and cloud data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, deployment and operation of data architecture and pipelines.
• Lead development of scalable data models, ETL/ELT processes and data governance.
• Collaborate with Product Management and engineering to build data products.
• Mentor engineering teams and enforce design standards and QA practices.
