Cloud and Things in Albany, NY seeks a Senior Data Architect to define the program's data architecture roadmap, establish a data lake and analytics reference architecture, and manage data implementation across three IES workstreams for NYS clients OTDA and OCFS.

The role will develop reporting capabilities and a reusable implementation framework that enables rapid deployment of program data products, while ensuring strong data governance and scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience with Data Lake, Data Analytics, and Data Strategy.
• Experience developing data solutions from requirements gathering through post-production operations.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and project plans.
• Experience developing detailed architecture documentation, including architecture models and specifications.
• Experience implementing mission-critical data systems on Databricks and/or AWS.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect who will support our NYS client.

This role will define the program's data architecture roadmap, establish a data lake and analytics reference architecture, and manage data implementation planning across the three main IES workstreams.

The Senior Data Architect will also develop reporting and analytics capabilities for OTDA and OCFS and create a reusable implementation framework that enables the workstreams to utilize program data products.
