Job summary

Precor is seeking a Senior Data Architect to build a scalable analytics platform, governing end-to-end data architecture across Microsoft Fabric, SAP ECC 6.0, and Google BigQuery. You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales leaders to define standards, mentor the data team, and enable AI-driven insights today and as the business grows.

You will partner with data science to ensure proper feature stores and training data, while establishing governance, security, and QA practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or architecture, with 1+ years in a senior or lead architect capacity.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI semantic models and dataflows) or equivalent.
• Proven experience extracting and modeling data from SAP ECC 6.0 with understanding of SAP table structures and extraction challenges.
• Strong command of dimensional and semantic modeling (Kimball, star schemas, governed metric layers).
• Demonstrated ability to design architectures enabling AI and machine learning workloads.
• Track record of tying technical decisions to measurable business outcomes and communicating to executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines across Fabric, SAP ECC 6.0, and Google BigQuery.
• Architect end-to-end extraction from SAP ECC modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) with medallion layering in Fabric Lakehouse.
• Establish ingestion patterns, including CDC, for SAP data without overloading sources.
• Design integration strategies bridging Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
• Evaluate ingestion, orchestration, and storage patterns for performance and cost.
