Job summary

Precor seeks a Senior Data Architect to design and govern scalable data pipelines across Microsoft Fabric, SAP ECC 6.0, and Google BigQuery. You will guide end-to-end data extraction, modeling, and AI-enabled analytics for finance, operations, supply chain, and sales.

You will mentor the data team, set standards, and collaborate with executives to align architecture with business goals while enabling ML workflows today and as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or architecture with 1+ year in a senior/lead architect role.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI semantic models) or equivalent.
• Experience extracting and modeling data from SAP ECC 6.0 and understanding SAP table structures.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional and semantic modeling (Kimball, star schemas, governed metric layers).
• Ability to design architectures enabling AI and machine learning workloads.
• Proven ability to link technical decisions to business outcomes and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern scalable data pipelines across Fabric, SAP ECC 6.0, and BigQuery, ensuring reliable data flow to BI consumption.
• Architect end-to-end extraction from SAP ECC modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) including lakehouse layering.
• Establish batch and CDC ingestion patterns that move SAP data without overloading sources.
• Design integration strategies bridging Azure and Google Cloud for a unified ecosystem.
• Evaluate ingestion, orchestration, and storage patterns balancing performance and cost.
