Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Senior Data Architect, Research Analytics to lead the design of a scalable research data repository and to manage end-to-end data integration from financial, CTMS, IRB, and HR systems.

You will enable reproducible metrics, dashboards, and governance across research operations, while partnering with IS leadership and researchers to drive data quality and strategic reporting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and four years’ experience in systems development and maintenance.
• Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the architecture of a centralized, enterprise research data repository.
• Lead robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and curate data from multiple systems.
• Translate requirements into data models and visualizations for research domains.
• Support data governance, quality, and security with policy enforcement and auditing.
