Job summary

The MITRE Corporation is seeking a Data Architect to join MITRE's Systems Engineering Analytics team in support of national security and government data initiatives. You will design enterprise data architectures and guide data management across programs.

You will lead the translation of mission needs into implementable data solutions, work with engineering teams, and communicate complex concepts to senior leaders. A Top Secret clearance and 3 days on-site are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
• Ability to translate mission problems into technical approaches.
• Strong systems thinking and analytical problem solving.
• Experience with data integration across commercial and government tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise data architectures and roadmaps.
• Design data schemas, metadata schemas, and data workflows.
• Advise on governance models and operating plans.
• Translate mission needs into architecture recommendations.
