Job summary

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our Business Technology team at our Granite City, IL headquarters.

The role requires 8+ years of data engineering experience, with hands-on design and leadership across data pipelines, governance, and semantic modeling. You will lead a team, shape data strategy, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Estimating to align datasets with business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with leadership experience
• Hands-on experience building production data pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Datastream, Pub/Sub, Airflow)
• Strong SQL and dimensional analytics
• Experience with CDC and API-based ingestion with idempotent pipelines
• Track record setting data engineering standards while remaining hands-on in code

Responsibilities

• Translate the data strategy into a working data platform.
• Define and own datasets: schema, grain, ownership, freshness SLAs, quality contracts.
• Own pipeline and dataset roadmaps, balancing ingestion, reliability, and governance debt.
• Hire, coach, and manage the data engineering and analytics engineering function.
• Partner with Cloud Operations on DataOps tooling and CI/CD.
