Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a data architect to design and deliver data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures. You will resolve routine issues with analysts and technology teams while shaping future data architecture developments.

You will work on data pipelines, security data flows, and analytics platforms across cloud and on-prem environments, applying Zero Trust principles and DoD cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering, or security platform architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elastic Security, Microsoft Sentinel, or Google Chronicle.
• Experience with stream processing and data brokering tools such as Apache Kafka, Logstash, Fluentd, or Cribl.
• Experience designing security data pipeline architectures, including log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
• Experience with data lake and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Iceberg, or Snowflake.
• Experience building detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows, and automated response capabilities with EDR/NDR tools (CrowdStrike, Corelight, or Trellix).
• Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift and applying Zero Trust and DoD frameworks.
• HS diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures.
• Resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams.
• Analyze data architecture related business needs and provide recommendations.
