Centric Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead multiple development streams with a strong focus on cloud-based architectures and AI-enabled solutions. This remote role requires coordinating with clients, architects, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality design and governance across engagements.

The ideal candidate will guide architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and translate business goals into practical technical directions while mentoring teams and maintaining

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading development teams or serving in a technical lead capacity.
• Experience leading enterprise application development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
• Experience performing formal code reviews and establishing development standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and senior technology leaders.
• Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multiple development initiatives and client workstreams.
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards, quality controls, and development best practices.
• Guide solution architecture and design discussions for cloud-based applications.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business goals into practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, project leadership, and client stakeholders to improve delivery quality and consistency.
• Evaluate application architectures and recommend improvements for scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Mentor development teams and provide hands-on technical guidance when needed.
• Support AI-enabled solution initiatives and help teams integrate emerging technologies appropriately within enterprise architectures.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, risk identification, and solution governance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
