Job summary

Everforth Apex invites a Lead Data Architect to join Irving, TX onsite teams building large-scale data platforms. You will design and implement relational models, drive data acquisition strategies, and deliver analytics-ready architectures across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes hands-on SQL, Synapse, Python, and cloud skills, with responsibility for data governance and performance tuning within a modern Azure-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• Ten+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years SQL and Unix experience.
• 2+ years with Synapse data layering and 2+ years Python.
• Strong analytics, statistics, predictive modeling, ML, and data visualization skills; Azure cloud knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design database models and architecture deliverables.
• Develop logical and physical database models and scripts.
• Monitor performance, capacity, data integrity, and replication.
• Serve as central data access point and prioritize data requests.
• Perform SQL analytics, ad-hoc queries, and data transformations.
• Contribute to product design across the infrastructure.
