Job summary

Inadev Corporation seeks a Database Architect to own the data architecture for a high-volume filing platform on AWS. You will design data models, storage strategies, and data-flow patterns to ensure performance, integrity, security, and regulatory auditability.

Key responsibilities include defining governance standards, architecting pipelines, and collaborating with product and cloud teams. A HYBRID schedule in Reston, VA and client sites in the DC area is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering/architecture experience.
• Deep expertise in data modeling across relational and NoSQL systems.
• Experience with AWS data services at scale.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Own the target-state data architecture and data models for the platform.
• Design storage, partitioning, and access strategies on AWS data services (Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift).
• Define data governance, lineage, and quality standards.
• Architect data pipelines, integration, and dissemination patterns; ensure data security.
• Partner with product and cloud architects on cross-domain data concerns.
• Support analytics and AI/ML data enablement.
• Review data designs and mentor database developers.
