Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a Data Architect to design and govern enterprise data architecture across the oil and gas value chain. You will translate business needs into target architectures spanning source systems, data engineering, cloud platforms, governance, analytics, data products, and AI/ML.

You will partner with multiple teams to deliver scalable, secure data foundations and reusable services for AI and data science.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage, and MDM practices.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable architecture and artifacts.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and operating models for data products.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise data principles, standards, and reference architectures.
Architect data warehouses, lakes, lakehouses, and data products to support analytics and AI applications.
Define architecture standards for data science, AI/ML, and MLOps.
Architect secure AI and generative AI solutions with foundation models and RAG.
Establish reusable data services and governance across teams.
Align data products with business outcomes and executive guidance.
