Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Arlington, VA seeks a senior data architect to design and govern the enterprise data ecosystem, establishing standards for storage and data models, and architecture for ingestion and processing pipelines. You will work with GRC and security to embed governance and data protection from the outset.

The role enables FAIR data for advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale, ensuring findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable data across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, cybersecurity, CS, IS, data science, or software engineering.
• 8 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the organization's data ecosystem and architecture.
• Establish enterprise data model and storage standards (data lakes, warehouses, databases).
• Design data ingestion and processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data access.
• Collaborate with GRC and security to embed governance, quality, and protection policies.
• Ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) for analytics and AI/ML.

Works closely with GRC and security teams to embed data governance, data quality and data protection policies from the outset. The primary goal is to ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• 8 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models.

Security Clearance

• Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position.

Compensation

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia and the city of Cleveland is: $106,300 – $221,100 USD.
