Job summary

SkyPoint Cloud Inc. is seeking a Senior Data & Application Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on software and data engineering. The role spans data pipelines, APIs, and full-stack development, collaborating with US-based customers and internal teams. Candidates should be comfortable with EST/PST business hours and remote work.

The position emphasizes data ingestion, transformation, and end-to-end solution delivery in healthcare operations, leveraging modern data platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software/data engineering experience.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
Strong hands-on experience building production-grade ETL/ELT and data integration pipelines.
Experience with Apache Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
Strong experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT and data processing pipelines.
Develop data ingestion frameworks integrating APIs, databases, files, cloud apps, and third-party systems.
Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and application integrations.
Contribute to full-stack application development based on product and customer requirements.
Develop data models, data warehouses, and data lake/lakehouse architectures.
Work with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and Azure.
