Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a data science engineer in Oaks, PA to tackle NLP, DL, and AI initiatives. You will lead ML deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and integrate models into client environments, both on-prem and cloud.

The role requires hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, SQL/NoSQL, and data visualization tools, within an agile setting. Bachelor’s in CS is preferred; a strong advantage to work with aerospace data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of NLP experience.
• 3+ years of SQL/NoSQL experience.
• Proficient with data visualization tools.
• Proficient in PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with generative AI models (LLMs).
• Experience integrating models into customer environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Experience working in an agile software development team.
• Experience with MLOps and MLOps tool stack.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and data quality standards.
• Build systems for data analysis to identify patterns and insights for decision-making.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of data scientists.
• Implement and deploy ML models, integrating into customer environments with software teams.
• Collaborate with domain experts to incorporate engineering knowledge into data analysis and modeling.
• Continuously evaluate and improve models for accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in data science and aerospace technologies to drive innovation.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders via reports and visuals.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 3+ years of experience in natural language processing
• 3+ years of experience in SQL or NoSQL Database Languages
• Proficient with data visualization tools
• Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
