Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Detroit, MI is seeking a Data Scientist to design and deploy predictive models and analytic solutions. You will translate business problems into ML framing, perform data preprocessing, and collaborate with partners to deliver actionable insights.

The role requires strong Python skills, experience with ML libraries, SQL, and a solid MS degree. Knowledge of GenAI and model evaluation will be valued as you build scalable analytics.

Qualificações

• MS degree required
• Strong ML model building experience (gradient boosting, GLMs, time series, NLP)
• Python data science stack experience: pandas, scikit-learn
• Experience with SQL
• Excellent communication and ability to translate business problems into ML framing
• Good understanding of GenAI

Data Scientist

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Good understanding of machine learning including with extensive hands-on experience in model building (gradient boosting (XGBoost/LightGBM),
• GLMs, time series, NLP etc.
• Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques
• Ability to do data analysis using Python
• Expertise in statistical analysis, feature engineering, A/B testing techniques and predictive modelling
• Good knowledge of Python Datascience stack: pandas, scikit-learn, MLflow (or similar), model evaluation rigor
• Experience with SQL
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with partners: translating business problems into ML framing
• Good understanding of GenAI
