Imperial Health Plan of California, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics to lead complex data, reporting, and BI initiatives that support operational, financial, regulatory, clinical, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

The role partners with department leaders, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate findings into actionable recommendations, guide data-driven decisions, and support a planned migration to Databricks using SQL, Python, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, BI, or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands-on SQL experience in a professional environment.
• Experience independently managing complex analytical assignments and delivering solutions to stakeholders.
• Project leadership or project management experience including requirements, planning, milestones, risks, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultations with business owners and SMEs to define analytical needs.
• Develop complex SQL queries, data transformations, and reporting logic.
• Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Lead data analytics projects and migration workstreams, coordinating with IT and vendors.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and documentation across solutions.
