Job summary

First Bank & Trust is seeking a senior data analytics professional to design enterprise analytics solutions, build tabular models, and deliver data-informed insights across business lines. You will lead data engagement initiatives and collaborate with technology teams to align analytics with strategic goals.

Strong SQL Server, T-SQL, DAX, and Power BI skills are required; PL-300 certification must be achieved within six months. Knowledge of R or Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience building solutions using advanced analytics with financial data.
• Research-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading development with multiple contributors.
• Extensive experience with tabular models, SQL Server, T-SQL, DAX, and BI visualizations.
• PL-300 certification required and to be obtained within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of R or Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop optimized enterprise data analytics solutions for client, market, product, and operations.
• Develop and use tabular models and continually improve analytics solutions and dashboards.
• Lead Data Engagement initiatives to provide accessible information via dashboards.
• Collaborate with technology team members to design and implement data storage/access.
• Build relationships with business lines to understand objectives and derive requirements.
• Advise on data best practices and improve automation of insights and efficiency.
