Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics to lead the development of analytic solutions, mentor peers, and collaborate with business units. The candidate will independently access data and build visualizations to tell a holistic story.

The role requires leadership in analytics, experience with Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx, and a track record of delivering results in risk and compliance analytics within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative discipline plus 4 years of experience or a Master’s Degree plus 3 years of experience
• 4 years of experience developing analytic solutions
• Experience creating dashboards visualizations with Tableau
• Proficient with SQL (analytic and scripting languages)
• Proficient with Alteryx

Responsibilities

• Develop and Deploy complex analytic solutions using descriptive and diagnostic analytics with a future focus on predictive analytics
• Translate business requests into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identify data sources, perform quality validations, and document known limitations
• Access, mine, join and extract data from multiple sources in the data ecosystem
• Leverage data visualization tools to communicate insights and drive action
• Perform test cases and validate results
• Identify challenges with data sources, reports, and processes to improve efficiency
