Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Data Analytics Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to advance data enrichment, schema interpretation, and analytics across sensitive IC datasets. You will leverage Python/Scala, Pig, MapReduce, and Spark to extract value from large data stores and present findings via DataXplorer or similar tools.

Qualifications

8+ years in software development/engineering with full lifecycle experience.
Experience with Python/Scala for statistical analysis and ML.
Strong knowledge of structured data and data ontologies.
Background in data enrichment, ingestion, and data characterization.

Responsibilities

Develop data enrichment/conversion strategies for structured data.
Leverage statistical methods and ML to identify patterns.
Use DataXplorer and GMAE to present datasets as narratives.
Collaborate with customer teams to identify mission needs.
Characterize and ingest new data types for IC data custodians.
