Job summary

The ACI Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sr. Data Analytics Developer/Sr. Data Engineer to join a CMS-focused healthcare analytics program. The ideal candidate will work with Python and SQL to build scalable data pipelines using large Medicare/Medicaid data and cloud platforms.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of programming experience; proficiency in Python/SQL and familiarity with cloud services. US citizenship and CMS EUA ID are desirable for clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of programming experience in a professional or academic environment.
• Programming in Python and SQL; experience with SAS, R, or Stata is a plus.
• Experience building data pipelines and analytics on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• CMS EUA ID holding or ability to obtain is desired; US citizenship for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and analyses using large health data sources.
• Provide data processing optimizations on cloud platforms and ensure data quality.
• Mentor junior developers and potentially lead small teams of 2–3.
• Iterate with researchers to adjust specifications and code based on findings.
• Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
